yet another random post

Hi guys. Its been a week since i last posted an entry here. Had a rather hectic weekend with Standard Chartered Marathon taking up 3/4 of my saturday and sunday. Overall, the event was quite well planned but nevertheless, some issues still occurred. Just couldn't stand the fact that they switched my segment without even seeking our opinions. In the end, I still didn't go to that segment and returned to my original one :) The tee-shirt volunteers got was quite nice but the cutting was rather tight. After the event, headed to town and met up with church mates. Had lunch at cineleisure (food was good but i don't know the name of the shop), played a little pool and LAN games. Went to church after that because I skipped the morning service. Well, life's been quite normal this week and nothing really special popped up. But anyway, Christmas is coming and I cant wait! It is my favorite part of the year, other than my birthday :) Soon, it'll be holidays and time to relax from the boring PBL life in RP.

CONTENDER!

Hi all! It has been a great day at school but even a greater Friday night which would make it so unforgettable. THE ULTIMATE TEAM REPUBLIC CONTENDERS! For those of you who might not know what this thing is, its an event where students can form teams and go around the school doing certain tasks to gain points. The team with the most points would win the coveted title of Ultimate Contenders. It started on a high as all teams rushed out from the starting point to the swimming pool to get the challenge card and the clappers to certify that the team has went to the pool first. After that, our team, comprising of Kamil, LongSheng, Gary and I, went to the tennis station first. Despite completing most of the stations rather early, we neglected the Adventure Learning Station, which made up quite a high point percentage in this event. Although we did not manage to win the Ultimate Contenders, the team managed to win the group champion. Congratulations to the overall champions, Siiiiibeiiiiqiangggahh!! It was a good and fair competition and you guys were truly the best. Thanks to OSG for organising the event and I certainly hope that there would be another Contenders Challenge next year :)

FRIDAY!!

Hi guys. It is Friday again! Training yesterday was much more relaxed than Tuesday, but still ended up worn out and body ached. The thought of having school the next day just totally puts me off and luckily it is Friday :) Due to the bad weather these few days, some days hot some days rained like mad, I think I'm catching the flu again. Not feeling too well with my throat and starting to slack off in class :P hehehehehe Well after school there's still CONTENDERS to be fought for and it'll be up to Kamil, PIHU, Gary and I to defend our title from last year. Come on *Title Defenders!! VAMOS!


P.S Look out for PIHU. He might just turn formless any minute.

MY FIRST POST

Hi all! This is my first post on blogspot. I dont know what to do or how to do so pls give me advice if you do stumble across my blog :). Anyway, the school tennis team had a new coach yesterday. At first, he seemed a little "action babi" if you know what i'm talking about but after the team's first meeting with him, I think its high time we started some disciplined, intensive and structured training. Although training was a good workout, the best part was the team cheer at the end of training, among the guys, girls and the intermediate team. It is a start to bury the hatchet between the guys and the girls and to integrate the intermediate team into one big family. Looking forward to the next training and till then, good bye! :)
